Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. It's a safe place to find community and freedom from issues controlling your life.
This isn't just for those dealing with addiction — over 70% of participants come for grief, anxiety, codependency, anger, and other hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Whoever you are and whatever you're carrying, you are welcome here.
Zion Lutheran Church in Fairbanks has been hosting CR for 20 years, and this anniversary celebration brings together groups from across Alaska for a weekend of worship, community, and healing.
Join us Friday evening for large group, then return Saturday for a full day of worship, teaching, community — and a Salmon Bake to close it out.
Tommy Woodard has spent 30+ years telling stories that make people laugh — and then, without warning, think about Jesus. His unique blend of humor, faith, and honest storytelling has reached audiences across stage and screen nationwide.
He starred in Family Camp (2022) and The Forge (2024), two faith-based feature films released in theaters nationwide. Today, Tommy creates new work through 231 Collective — building films and art that use humor and story to encourage people and point them to what's true.
Tommy also serves as a pastor at New Church in Oklahoma City. He brings that same heart to live events: funny, faithful, and weirdly helpful.
